BA Journalism and MA Journalism are accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council.
The BJTC represents employers in the Broadcast and Online Journalism industry – they update accredited courses regularly with information that will help students become employable. Interaction with the industry is second nature to us and we always ensure that you engage with current industry practices.
‘Live Rolling News Days’ in our industry standard TV and radio studios as well as our converged newsroom aim to help you develop the skills it takes to be a good broadcast and multi-platform journalist.
During these News Days, you’ll work as news reporters, producers, editors, news desk editors and also receive voice and presentation training, enabling you to take on presenting tasks. You’ll be taught by tutors with ample experience in TV, Radio and Online news production.
You will also be encouraged to develop links with students working at partner universities across the World and build contacts that will continue into the industry.
